Piper St Food Co in the time of COVID-19

As makers and providers of quality produce we will endeavour to maintain business as usual

We think good food is really important. It’s important for nourishment, well being, enjoyment and connection

Piper St Food Co will continue to make and offer high quality food made from the best primary ingredients

We are so very grateful for those of you continuing to support us

We are working on additional items which may be nourishing and helpful at this time Including more seasonal, substantial salads and stocks Plus more large pies and quiches. We will create weekly recipes and videos to keep you inspired

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for daily specials and updates

If you would prefer to not come in store – we are happy to take pre-paid orders for pick up at our store – just call (or toot!) once you’re out front

Please just call ahead if you would prefer to do your shopping this way 5422 3553

If we need to close our little shop temporarily, we will move to a pick up or delivery service

We will also work with other local producers so you have access to other items – I know if I’m forced to have a home-holiday a box of beautiful produce would bring so much joy

Apart from being providers of good quality food we are hoping to trade as usual for as long as possible in order to sustain our livelihood and maintain our small workforce. I was very pleased to hear Farmers’ Markets will continue – please check the VFMA website for dates and site locations These are a wonderful way to support small growers and makers – many of them also have great swap tables – run by local sustainability groups. Many local businesses are offering home deliveries and some have been able to move their products online

If you have ANY extra home grown produce I have an area in my shop where people can help themselves and all donations made are forwarded to Kyneton Caring Community – who at this time need as much support as they can in order to support the vulnerable in our community – so any tomatoes, zucchini, greens, apples etc etc – bring them in

We have taken the step to postpone all classes until things are clearer.

If you were booked into a class you should have received an email – if you haven’t please get in touch

We will continue to take the advice of State & Federal Governments and we will keep you updated of any changes

Our Easter products are about to be released – I will be sending out the brochure and order form on Thursday

We will be making our famous spicy Hot Cross Buns, our beautiful pork & apple Easter pie, Chicken Galantine, Jambon Persille – and yes our delicious quince & walnut tart (thanks to Rob & Luke from Animus Distillery for letting us raid their incredible quince tree)
