Piper St Food Co. class sizes will be from 8-15 people depending on the class
Our private classes run from 2-4 hours; depending on your time line.
We include elements of demonstration as well as allowing participants to get hands on and practice the techniques.
All classes are based on basic methods & principles of cookery – giving a great foundation for participants to practice and continue at home. Our classes are relaxed, fun and full of discussion and sharing of ideas.
Classes are based around certain skills, menus and seasons
We are flexible in what you choose to do in your private classes so please just ask and we are happy to tailor make a class that suits you and the rest of your group.
2 hour classes include tastings throughout and are demonstration classes
4 hour classes are hands-on and include a shared lunch plus other take home products

In each Pasta class you will learn the skills, techniques & recipes to create perfect pasta, risotto & gnocchi
This class changes each season where you will learn different sauces and accompaniments to each style of pasta
Classic Menu Series – Create your own 3 course lunch
In this series you will learn a range of skills and techniques that will give you confidence to prepare classic recipes at home – from knife skills to soups, salads, sauces, roasting & pastry
At Piper St Food Co we believe food tastes better when you enjoy the process and also when you get to share the final product. In this series you will work together to create a series of classic seasonal recipes and then sit down to a shared 3 course meal.
The menus are seasonal, relaxed and based on quality produce, relevant techniques and classic recipes
This class will have you creating 4 different pastries – Rough Puff, Pate Brisée, Hot Water Pastry & Choux Pastry.
From these you will create individual sweet & savoury canapés that will form your extravagant afternoon tea. Includes Quiche, Picnic Pie, Lemon Meringue tarts, Éclair & apple galettes served with Lady Grey Tea & Bubbles
You will learn so many techniques and recipes you will be picnicking all through Spring & Summer In this class you will make :
Asparagus Galettes, Scotch Eggs, Salmon Rillettes, Dill Pickles, Sauce Gribiche, salad and something sweet
Sausage Making, Traditional English Pork Pies, Bread, Terrines & Galantines, Quiches & Tarts, Stocks & Soups, Planning & Cooking your next dinner party…
