Pork Pies & Cornish Pasties
A 3 hour hands on class teaching all the history, tradition and techniques you need to create the tastiest, most authentic pork pies and Cornish pasties, by hand in your own home.
Your teacher & qualified chef, Damian has been professionally making these pies and pasties for over a decade. He has tweaked and adapted many different recipes to land on the ones we think are the best - and that just means the tastiest.
You will learn how to make hot water pastry, the perfect blend of spices and how to use a traditional pork pie 'dolly'. Class also includes a classic Rough Puff pastry used to make our proper Cornish Pasty and includes hand crimping your pasties. This class is hands on, fun and suits all skill levels.
Class includes tastings, recipes, lunch and take home goods.
